Before I headed out to work, I took out my camera and shot some photos of my fish in the 75 gal tank.

不養絲帶蘭了 Got rid of the vals

因爲那些絲帶蘭長的實在太快了，我終于決定把它們連根拔起，再去用別的水草去裝飾魚缸的背景。

Because of the Vals being a pain to trim as they were growing and spreading like crazy, I decided to pull them all out of my tank and have now replaced the vals with some stem plants in the background.

沒有了絲帶蘭，魚缸看起來沒有那麽亂。再過一點時間可能會再有一些小改動。 The tank actually looks a bit neater without the Vals. As time goes on, I will most likely be tweaking the layout of this tank.

神仙魚它體形高雅，遊姿優美，這就是它們使我着迷的原因之一。神仙魚的種類有很多，我個人比較喜歡的包括有：銀色神仙、藍色神仙、紅頭山水、還有黑神仙。將來會逐一地詳細介紹。

One of the reasons why I like angelfish so much is because of their gorgeous appearance and elegant swimming motion.  There are many breeds of angelfish, and my favourite ones include: Silver Angels, Blue Silver Angels, Koi Angels and also Black Angels。

玻利維亞鳳凰 Bolivian Rams

在衆多種類的鳳凰中，我最喜歡的並不是色彩奪目的七彩鳳凰，而是帶著一點平凡美的玻利維亞鳳凰。它身帶黃色和它最受人注目的紅色尾巴，它的美絕對不遜于七彩鳳凰。

Bolivian ram looking it's best, not losing out on beauty when compared to Blue Rams

Among the different dwarf cichlids, Bolivian Rams remain my favourite. They are not as colourful as Blue Rams but they are beautiful in their own rights, with subtle but beautiful colors on the body and fins, and when mature, the finnage would be extended in a beautiful way.

與其它鳳凰一樣，它們是熱帶魚，喜歡酸軟水而且水質一定要保持的很乾淨。

Like other South American dwarf cichlids, the Bolivian Rams are tropical fish and prefers soft and acidic water that is very clean.

像其他鳳凰一樣，它們是隨著時間隨著它們成熟才會慢慢地把它們鮮豔的顔色呈現出來。幼魚一般都主要是灰色，帶一點點黃色。


Like most dwarf cichlids, the Bolivian Rams will colour up as they mature and feeding them colour enhancing food while they are still growing would certainly help them develope their colours. During the juvenile stage, these fish would be mostly greyish in colour with just hints of yellow on the body.
